Y’all I am so glad you have joined us on our homestead . Brody is the King and Farm boss of our homestead and loves walking around each night checking on the quail and chickens. He has made himself the self appointed guardian of our feathered critters. He is slowing down quite about in the last few months (he’ll be 16 in Oct. 2024) and has some issues getting around, but he still insists on his nightly rounds. Maybe a bit slower than usual, but he loves to carry out his rounds.
UPDATE: Sadly, I need to announce that our Beloved Brody passed away on February 28, 2025. He will be deeply missed but will live on forever in our hearts and we have commemorated him with a memorial garden in the middle of our farm so he is an ongoing presence each and every day.
